Laura Skenderas
Laura is a dedicated advocate for survivors of sexual assault, abuse, and sexual violence caused by negligent corporations. With a record-setting $63 million recovery in 2025, she is committed to fighting tirelessly for survivors’ rights and ensuring they receive both the justice and the compensation they deserve.
Laura understands that navigating the legal system for many of the people she helps can feel overwhelming, especially after they have suffered through traumatic and painful experiences. That’s why she is so passionate about helping people. Laura provides extraordinary communication, attention, and guidance to the victims she helps every step of the way. She always has time to explain the legal process and to fully answer all questions.
Laura started out defending these cases as a defense attorney, giving her a distinct advantage in understanding how insurance companies and corporations assess risk and exposure to help her maximize compensation for the survivors she represents. Drawing from her experience, she possesses invaluable insights into how insurance companies evaluate and value sexual assault cases and claims of sexual abuse. She understands the tactics and strategies employed by corporations and individual defendants when they attempt to avoid being held accountable. This knowledge allows her to maximize justice and compensation for her clients.
